Flachwasseralarm! Es ist brütend heiß und ich frage mich, ob ich mir das wirklich geben soll! Bei dieser Hitze in die Wathose steigen? Na was soll's, ist zwar nahezu nicht notwendig, denn die Bäche haben einen erschreckend niedrigen Wasserstand. Bei einer durchschnittlichen Wassertiefe von 60-70 cm, schon verheerend, wenn da mal 30cm Wasser fehlen. In den letzten Wochen hat es gerade mal 2 Liter geregnet, eindeutig zu wenig! Den Forellen ist dieser Umstand glücklicherweise nahezu egal, Hauptsache sie haben genügend Wasser unter ihren Flossen damit sie schwimmen können. Kalt genug ist es mit 16°C zum Glück, dank der guten Beschattung ringsherum. Deshalb dient die Hose auch mehr zum Schutz vor Ungeziefer im hohen Gras.   Am Bach angekommen zeichnet sich ein erschreckendes Bild ab. Die vermeintlich tiefen Stellen sind plötzlich auch nur noch oberschenkeltief. Die normalen Spots mit 30 Zentimetern fast unbefischbar oder etwa doch nicht? Als ich zur zweiten Stelle komme mache ich eine interessante Beobachtung. Der optisch leere Platz entpuppt sich als Hot Spot! Im Freiwasser kein einziger Fisch, doch sobald der "Puncher" in Ufernähe kommt, schießen die Forellen wie wild aus den Wurzelstöcken der Bäume, oft nur knöcheltiefes Wasser bietet ihnen Schutz,unglaublich. Die Forellen sind gezwungen sich anzupassen und nutzen jede noch so kleine und unscheinbare Niesche um aus unserem Sichtfeld zu verschwinden. Zunächst etwas zaghaft doch dann immer heftiger werden die Attacken. Am besten ist es, wenn der Köder über längere Strecken parallel zum Ufer geführt werden kann. Diagonale Würfe Quer über den Bach sind oft zu kurz und verursachen lediglich Anfasser, die zumeist in Fehlbissen enden. Mit kurzen ,ruckartigen Bewegungen führe ich den 50mm Köder in Fire-Tiger Optik dicht unter der Oberfläche. Es gibt die die Teile in unterschiedlichen Größen und mit unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften. Je nach Gewässertyp ist immer das richtige dabei! Nach mehreren Fehlbissen geht es dann Schlag auf Schlag und die Forellen landen eine nach der anderen in meinem Watkescher! Die Fische sind in dieser Jahreszeit sehr aggressiv und scheuen auch vor größeren Entfernungen quer über den Bach nicht zurück. Das kühle Bachwasser hält mich bei Laune und ich werfe Stelle um Stelle ab, immer auf der Suche nach dem nächsten Fisch. Als mein Fischkorb mit einigen Fischen bestückt ist, trete ich nach nur wenigen Stunden wieder die Heimreise an. Zufrieden sinke ich zuhause auf der Terrasse in meinen Stuhl und plane gedanklich schon die nächsten anglerischen Stunden.....  |
